Get Your Inner Italian On: Chicken Parmesan

Wine.

Screaming families.

The Godfather.

Al Capone.

Mozzarella cheese.

Cannollis.

The cast of Jersey Shore.

While getting in touch with your Italian side in the kitchen could lead to all sorts of Lady and the Tramp kissing over spaghetti, it’s easy to impress your honey with more than just pasta.

Try our easy Chicken Parmesan for a meal that’s impressive and sure to hit the spot, Italian-style.

All you need:

2 chicken breast cutlets

1 egg

Breadcrumbs

1 tsp dried oregano

1 ½ c jarred marinara sauce

4 tbs Parmesan cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Crack egg in small bowl. Dip chicken breast in egg and submerge in breadcrumbs.
  3. Place chicken in a shallow roasting pan (or even a cake pan).
  4. Sprinkle with oregano.
  5. Pour on sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake for 12-15 min or until the sauce is hot and the cheese is melted.
  7. Enjoy!
