Happy Saturday, Bitches!
Our wishes for warmer weather seem to have been answered, as it’s currently a pleasant but breezy 50 degrees here at the beach. Whoever made that happen- many thanks!
This weekend, we’re posting live from an epic, three-story, jacuzzi’d, elevatored beach house in Long Beach Island. It seems that working on films can have its perks from time to time (working = reading Jacqueline Susann novels in bed).
No matter how ridiculous our accommodations, you know we’re always wanting more, more, more. Here’s what’s on our wish list at this particular moment:
- A beautiful headband from Naomi at her Love Taza Etsy shop (check it out at http://lovetaza.com). Not only are we huge fans of her blog, but we also appreciate Naomi’s efforts to donate all proceeds of her beautiful bands to victims in Haiti. Personally, there’s nothing we love more than giving back and looking fierce while doing so.
- Fifty Dresses That Changed the World, the hardcover archive from the Design Museum. Filled with pages of beautiful clothes and the famous faces that put them on display for us all to admire, we’d love to pour over this book with endless cups of coffee.
- A pink crazy straw for the Yoo Hoo in a box I’m currently sipping on. Mine seems to have walked away for a moment.
- A paper bag bursting with vanilla mini sparkle donuts from Starbucks. These magical little pastries have been proved to improve your day by ten sparkle points. A crew of Bitches feasted on these at a midtown Starbucks last Sunday, and we just haven’t been able to forget about them. We know it’s just crunchy sugar and not glitter, but we still can’t get enough.
- Lots of hugs, hope, support, and love for everyone in Haiti right now. Victims, relief workers, families, children… wherever you happen to be, you haven’t left our minds for a second. To all those grieving here in the States, our heart goes out to you.
