Five Friday Frames, Part Three

Another Friday brings another addition of Five Frames from my week. It’s been quite a week indeed- I’d be lying if I denied how much I’m looking forward to sleeping past 6am this weekend- but it feels like it’s been quite rewarding. Is there anything quite so satisfying as realizing you’ve fully executed four complete “to-do” lists… by Wednesday?

Below are five frames that sum up the more magical parts of my week.
Taking my sister on her first Brooklyn thrifting experience.

Hiding out under the clothesline.

Funfetti cake from scratch.

Inspirations that watch over my desk at home.

Cooking summer pizza with tomatoes from the garden.
What you are doing this weekend, lovelies? After work, I’ll be meeting my girl E for some much-needed mojitos and girl talk on her East Village terrace. Tomorrow I’m excited for a secret surprise brunch, thanks to the Boy on a Budget who insists he’s got something magical up his sleeve. If I’m feeling daring, on Sunday I might brave the crowds (and Manhattan) and venture to the Met to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit. It’s been on my list for ages, but I never seem to get around to it!

Whatever you happen to be doing this Saturday and Sunday, make it lovely. Don’t think for one second about the workload that awaits you at 9am on Monday. The next 48 hours are yours- make ‘em count!
