Five Friday Frames, Part Thirteen

With weekend plans centered around hiking, camping, and general forest-exploring at a freeze due to the weather, I’m not exploring all sorts of magical indoor options to spend my Saturday and Sunday. After a long week of doing way more than the 9-to-5 thing, I am near ready to collapse. The stack of unread magazines and un-played podcasts is weighing heavy on my conscience, so this disgusting weekend weather forecast might force me to relax for once.

Below are five frames from the past week that capture any hours spent outside the office.

French-style brunch.

Breaking in a cupcake tower with apple cupcakes.

My very first lattice crust.

Little Skip's in Bushwick.

What are you planning on doing this weekend, lovelies? Due to the inclement weather, I hope to spend a lot of time in my PJs, reading Anais Nin (care of the completely magical Boy on a Budget) and eating French toast in bed. If I happen to come into money anytime soon, Sunday will surely find me at the movies, catching Drive and getting my Ryan Gosling fix.

I hope that your days are lovely and dry! Just because it’s raining doesn’t mean that the weekend is a total bust. Pull out those polka dot galoshes or those old episodes of Mad Men- whatever you do, make it as magical as possible!
