This week’s Make it Yourself Monday post goes out to all the folks that are currently in the mad scramble to finish gathering presents for the last-minute stragglers on your shopping list.
Inspired by a series of blog posts I’ve seen on some of my favorite sites this past week, I think an excellent DIY crafting idea in order to save a couple of bucks and still share the Christmas love can be found in a jar.
It’s so easy and cost-effective to either bake one of your favorite goodies and wrap it up in a (clean) leftover tomato sauce jar- and it’s equally adorable to provide a tried-and-true recipe for a treat like granola, hot chocolate, or pie to send along to a friend, family member, or neighbor. Personally, I have found that so many people ask me for my recipes, and providing all the ingredients, as well as step-by-step instructions, usually accomplish two things at once.
